In my opinion I do not think that Delphi would pursue working with global, and global wouldn't work with Delphi, if there was a chance that the security of their respective technologies could be compromised. And yes, I do think that Delphi would have had to abandon their project and projects with all other potential suppliers to deal with GLE. Doesn't this just make common sense?

These are business men dealing here, not the Taco Bell dog asking the KFC guy for his secret recipe!

Davis, exactly my point. The question of wether Delphi is using Global's cell exclusively cannot be answered with a simple 'yes' or 'no', unless there is evidence to support it. There is none. Delphi has not come out and said this and Global hasn't either. There do exist some legitimate reasons to doubt it.

Since there are dozens and dozens of groups experimenting with and developing fuel cells, including all major universities, government labs and a whole bunch of private and public companies, it would be absurd to think Delphi hasn't.

The only real speculation on my part is that I doubt Delphi would have given up its own efforts already. They've only been talking to Global for a couple of months, and could hardly ink a deal with BMW that makes them dependent on an unfinished deal with Global. On the other hand, I highly doubt Delphi has anything better.

All the best.
