Insider selling.........

I truly believe that these sales, which represented 15% or less of CURRENT holdings, simply reflect natural human tendencies after years of nothing. The timing is unfortunate which is why ACTV needs some serious investment banking advice. Hopefully they will retain a reputable firm to advise on all matters.
Don't forget top management also capped their SAR payments at well below current value(as per 10Q).

I knew about Reese's sale since Saturday. I felt it not in my best
interest or other informed longs to post it since it is very easy to misinterpret why an insider sells.

Art-

This is really a sad day. After you led the charge of bashing everyone who dared to post anything negative about the stock because you knew more than us, and anyone who posted anything negative had to be short, you've now resorted to saying negative things about the company. That is your right, I understand and do not begrudge you that. But you've stooped to the level that when you have possibly bad news about the company you withhold it. This behavior will reduce this thread to a $5-and-under style hype thread, where those "in the know" only talk about the good things, and next thing you know the stock undergoes a reverse split.

I'm not saying IATV is a stock like that. I think that the compensation plan stunk. I voted against it but held on to my shares when I saw that the execs took stock instead of cash; the dilution to the stock would only affect earnings by 1/10 of a cent or so, no big deal. No big deal unless of course they turn around and sell it right away. Then it's a choice of do they take cash from the company and make sure the company never ever reports positive earnings, or do they take stock from the company, sell it ASAP and knock 30% off the stock price. Now I'm back to thinking the compensation plan really stinks, and I didn't like how they amended it after the shareholders meeting.

Still, the real thing holding back this stock is a lack of an announcement of a definite rollout date. They have a credibility problem on this specific issue since they always announce that the date is 6-10 months out. They've stuck with the Q3 date for a while now, and Q3 starts in 2 days. (By Rollout I mean Fox Sports stuff). If the 2Q report comes out and says that rollout should come "4Q99-1Q00" then it's over.

For the record, I sold 110 shares at 11 1/8 late last week, so I'm down to a meager 40 shares. Stock could shoot to the moon and I wouldn't make much. *shrug*. I lost most of what I made on the run from 2-20 by buying more stock when it was high and having the stock fall. Let that be a lesson to everyone else. I'm still up around 60% on the deal, but the stock has gone up 500% since I bought in at a little over 2.
