Fair question Steele ! But a very complex question also, I'll give it a try. - First I dont make the market, I follow it. Basically I'm a trader: in out- out in all the time. This has little to do with wsp really it's just a market play. That's what Sam, and many others, can't understand. - An other way of looking at this: IMO there are 2 types of players in the market: Long term Position players and short term traders.One is not better than the other it's just 2 diffrent approaches to playing the market. It's very similar to the USSR doctrine and the US doctrine: (last I heard of) The USSR doctrine is that troops shoulsd hold a position, dig in, fortify, hold and fight to protect it.Protection of the Mother Land is the prime directive. The US doctrine is that troops should be mobile:(after the VietNam experience) ie set up the artillery, shoot the hell out of the fortified USSR position for say 15 minutes, disasemble and get the hell out of there before retribution starts raining in.. move on a few miles down the road set up again and do it all over.. U could call the US doctrine the Chicken Shit Way but whom whants to get blasted ??? Not me so I move around: long - out - short -long again- So whom takes the most risks here ??? me or U ??? position holder or trader ??? Now I do belive wsp got the goods but short term trading got little to do with the fundamentals.
