Interesting how this is being spun. Fact is FRO board said that it will continue to evaluate the QWST bid (WSJ online article is highlighting this). Very significant that the board did not say that they "would take no action", as it did when it rejected the first offer. I think FRO board is a little scared right now. They want to see what USW will do before deciding. So, Joe is saying we're going to give you a deadline. They definitely don't want QWST to go directly to the shareholders.

Very interesting the different spins the media has on this story. AP headline sounds as if FRO decided to take no action (i.e., reject the QWST bid).
