Thanks for your response. I may have a few more questions tomorrow. My friend seems to feel so strongly about this that I told him I would spend tomorrow on it. I will research the items you mentioned and see what I can come up with as well. The person who referred me to this doesn't usually get involved with companies that are in any way shady. So, I am surprised and curious.

I wonder what Lehman was so hot to do an equity investment for also. Usually they don't casually make these investments.

Thanks again, I'll be reading up tonight and checking things out more tomorrow.

I just finished reviewing this distributor agreement and speaking with
Andrew Krakauer at Ohmeda. They actually seem pretty excited about their distribution agreement. This then led me to investigate the financial well being of Ohmeda. The distribution agreement seems very strong but without the ability to pay (who cares)

I discovered that this is indeed a financially sound company. Indeed they were purchased by a consortium including Baxter international for several hundred million dollars.

Do you have a differant opinion about this agreement?

Bill, sorry to be on the other side from you on this one. I have taken a long position. I feel the stock is poised for an upward move. Short ratio is just way too high and with what they are doing at the company it appears they are on the right track. If there is any concerted effort at buying (and I suspect there might be soon). There will be upward volitility for sure. Sitting as close as it is to the 100 and 50 day MA will only exacerbate that, no?
