They hated each other and had advised the young couple against the marriage. In truth, Mary and Joseph had met a couple at swingers party and decided to switch, they had legally separated, and were awaiting their divorce. The last thing they wanted was a kid. The same mixup after the inevitable auto accident had this time killed Mary and Joseph and saved the fetus and the Doctor had the incubator turned on infant stabilized. It had been a severe test but the team had won through the critical first hour and the little one would live. Just then the young intern arrived with the news, the infant/fetus was supposed to be in this same hospital being aborted. The Doctor realizes immediately that the inimical parents will sue the Hospital for vast sums of money, he turns off the incubator. And you are saying : Nurse, arrest that man for murder.
