You would also have to factor in the number of abortion-related deaths not reported to authorities or reflected in the statistics. I guarantee you it is a large number.

Well, of course illegality doesn't cause death; it only causes furtive, unregulated, often filthy, cruel abortions by unqualified butchers or amateurs. If the procedure is illegal, it is less likely to be done in a clinic that passes inspection by licensed doctors attended by qualified anesthesiologists and followed up with appropriate antibiotics or other aftercare. It is less likely to be preceded by tests to ascertain the health of the woman, her ability to undergo the surgery safely, etc., also.

If abortion is illegal here again, it will be on kitchen tables again, with no anesthesia, by men in masks, whispering threats, disappearing afterward with their wad of cash never to be seen again.
