We had a guy who would fall asleep while smoking when I was at Fort Sam. He'd keep pushing the butt forward until it fell on the floor and made a tough spot to clean. Some of the guys taped him to his bunk real gently and finally woke him up when they taped his fingers together so he couldn't drop the butt. That cured him.
