Plan B--- You sound like the infamous Hollywood producer in the 1920's that when asked about talking pictures responded "Who wants to hear actors talk?" The technology will quickly improve and give people what they want--oral communication on the internet. The real question is how will a company make a profit in the future in the sure to be cut-throat competition. There is no guarantee that being one of the first and/or best companies will ensure success like an AT&T. But it seems Softbank, AOL, etc. don't want to miss the chance that NTOP may be a keeper.
