After the market close on 4/12 the 13 day rsi made a new high for the move from 3/31 at SPX 1286.37. In addition, 13 day rsi had broken above the 11/23/98 to 3/18/99 trendline, on 4/8, appearing to be a breakout. When you came banging your drums onto the MDA thread on the morning of 4/13 you clearly thought that this breakout would continue - otherwise you would not have made the post - berating "bears" before a significant market decline. On the morning of 4/14, when you said: "I was looking for "real" strength over the last 8 days. It had appeared to have happened but it now looks like what we got was not quite enough." The 13 day rsi had ticked down from 68.7 to 64.84 the day before. AFTER this happened THEN you knew strength was not there. This occurred the day AFTER your MDA post. But your post points out that you HAD been looking for strength over the previous 8 days. You were clearly bullish on the morning of 4/13. Duh. Not clear enough? "The end of day technicals show it to be quite bullish though." From an 4/8 postMessage 8773945 Now you can try to tell us that "quite bullish" doesn't mean what it says, so I can have yet another rip-roaring laugh at your trying to re-characterize your MDA post after the fact - I'm sure that you will. In this post you suggest that your MDA post be used as a contrary indicator: "Maybe that post is even an excellent contrary indicator and now the BK will begin"Message 8903951 Duh, telling "bears" that your post could be taken as a contrary indicator means that you were ... bullish. Duh. I don't understand why you are in denial about it - we all make mistakes. You were bullish at the time, pure, plain and simple. Game, set, match. Toodles, Vitas
