Jeff,

I am also wondering if BRGM felt they had established enough value in the deposit, respective of gold. Even though heap leaching had been around for 5-6 years at that point, it only started to become more widely used in the late 1970' and early 1980's.

In addition, by leaving a few "unknowns", it may have made for more interesting negotiations, once the property was up for sale.

Just a thought.
