Revenue is recognized when products are shipped, provided that no significant vendor support obligations remain outstanding, and provided that collection of the resulting receivable is deemed probable by management...... Exactly..and what are vendor support obligation? They are obligations that if the product does not sell THQ will refund the sale to them. Now do you understand? THQ ships 800,00 units. Did they sell through the channel by June 30th? I doubt it. Does THQ have vendor obligations YES. Therefor THQ reserves what has not sold through the channel. I never said they won't ship 800,000 I never said that they won't all sell at some point I said that a huge percentage of what did ship will not be in revenue for second qtr because there will be vendor obligations to the vendor!!!!!
