Imagis awarded Vancouver City Police contract

<<extract>>CABS will be fully integrated with other technologies in use at the jail facility such as the Sierra Systems Lock-up Management System (LMS). It will also interface with electronic live-scan fingerprinting, where fingerprints will be digitally scanned and added, together with the mugshot, to an offender's record.

The budget outlook for the FAA rollout is getting better:

washingtonpost.com

They are now forecasting a $1 trillion surplus over the next 15 years. I think Schuster has a bit more running room with his FAA trust fund bill, and we are seeing much improved chances of getting O'Hare rolled out nationally.

On another topic, the Wexler thread . . .

This is just another unwelcome side effect from Otis Bradley's "only one day and two hours left" buy recommendation on IDX. First, it attracted day traders (who have now left) and now it is attracting self-appointed short experts. Wexler, though, has shown no real analysis even worth responding to. I think in depth research would take up too much of his time.
