Next came news of Novell's NZ Schools Licensing Agreement. It provides NetWare 5, BorderManager, and ZENworks for school PC networks for $4 per student or $47 per computer.

Novell said it was responding to the Minister of Education's call to get information technology into schools.

"This ... provides real benefits to schools with only a small number of students, or for schools with few computers," said a Novell spokesman.
