Tinroad,

On the shareholder headcount, I am sure that e.Digital is taking any brokerage firm's shares (i.e. individual shares held in "street name") as a single shareholder.

Otherwise, the average shareholder would have about 175,000 shares, which I think is quite a bit higher than reality. Even after taking a very high estimate that half of the shares as closely held in only ten hands, that still leaves an average of over 90,000 per shareholder.

Based upon the number of message-posters on Raging Bull alone it would seem that e.Digital already has many more than 660 shareholders.

But to your point, yes, I agree that wider awareness of the company would certainly increase the share price. And your guess that we may be about to see a quadrupling of the shareholder base is probably as good as any.

Best regards,

Jim

Sticking my scrawny neck out here to get chopped off...
but to be as pervasive as floppies, the price point would have to drop substantially..which it will with time. The capacity will have to continue to increase...which it will. Standardization..wouldn't necessarily have to occur..people don't have to swap disks as much as in the old days, they can swap files via internet, intranet, RW CDs, zip drives, tape, etc etc. On the other hand, people wanting to swap songs, talking books, etc. for their portables would find standardization handy..now convince the various 'flashers' that they should have a standard. Yes, MicroOS could be come a standard..IMHO..wouldn't that be dandy for us?
Best, Savant
