So these are the main points:
- Lucent has agreed to undertake full ownership and operational control of Cirent Semiconductor
- reduced its capacity obligations
- Cirent will supply wafers to Cirrus Logic through Dec. 31, 2000

No financial details but at least a deal has been signed. I don't suppose Cirrus would be so fortunate such that "undertake full ownership" would translate into Lucent paying for Cirrus' share of the JV. If there was any payment to Cirrus I would imagine they would be trumpetting it in their press releases.

We will have to wait until the July release before we know what this company actually looks like. I welcome any comments as to what that may be.

All... <The company expects to detail the financial impact of its joint venture agreements on or before it reports fiscal Q1 financial results, July 21, 1999.>

It's disturbing to me that we are being kept in the dark at this point. Because of this my gut feeling is not what I wanted it to be. My only hope rests with TEO's investment and FRENCH's not too long ago stock purchase(10/98).
