Nothing the govt. does is either trustworthy or reliable. The correct latin term for this would be qui bono, whom does it benefit.

Yesterday had more new lows than new highs. End of quarter window dressing?

Have you read Harry Dent's books such as "The Roaring 2000s" or "The Great American Boom"? He now says DOW will hit 40,000 by 2008 or so. He does not see inflation as a problem. The fed is fighting the last war in his opinion. See: hsdent.com
