Some dummy was on CNBC a couple of minutes ago touting up Micron, and yahoo chat shows all the signs that we're not nearly done dropping yet: newbies who have never posted before came out of nowhere just to cheer and to snap at the old-timers. re pb's Zack's comment, too bad they don't have all kinds of increasingly horrific grades of "sell this crap" like they do for the two or three grades above "strong buy" ("focus stock of the week", et al) they invent when necessary. I'd like to see "strong sell" followed by "embarassing", "pathetic", etc. Goldman Sachs ratings, of course, would be in some inscrutable code: "gain spectator", "anti-opportunity list", and you'd have to figure out which one is worse.
