RE: Edelstone and RMBS He really didn't say anything more than he said when he upgraded the stock earlier this month. In most cases, moves like this are ephemeral. The mistaken assumption is that Edelstone was the one who determined that he was going to speak on CNBC. On the contrary, analysts are pestering CNBC all the time to get on. When they get on, they naturally plug their best idea. Edelstone's is RMBS. But without new information, the gap doesn't last. If I was trading this fund (and I'm not) I'm short RMBS at 98.
