I've been reading the posts regarding RB and SI, and am somewhat neutral on RB, though I love SI. Just questioning the timing. All this because of a near-future IPO?

You, of course, are purely objective about RB, right? Have you posted here your affiliation with RB? (If so, I missed it -- please point me to it.) Are you an employee, or a shareholder, or a contractor, of RB? Being proud of the work you do is fine. Attacking competitors without clearly revealing your affiliation (your profile doesn't mention anything about where you work) is at best sneaky. If that's the ethical standard of the people behind RB, I'll stick here a while longer. If I am wrong about your affiliation, or you have been upfront about it in posts here and I missed it, I'm sure you will let me know.

Francois, Kerry was correct. I was not referring to the actual functionality of RB or SI when I said that things would have to get a lot worse at SI for me to go to RB. Though there are some functional things that you would have to fix before I would frequent RB just because the user interface is cumbersome. Plus you have those big ole ugly ads at the top of each message. Again, SI may not be perfect, but it suits my style much more than RB. JXM
