Tony: RE: How these white box servers are packaged

For that matter, who makes boxes for Intel, at every level?

I know a little about this, but too little. And a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Can anyone tell us where Intel gets their PCs and Servers?

Thanks, dmf

BTW Thanks to all for the Red Hat stock/IPO comments

Tony - Re: "I wonder how these white box servers are packaged:

1. As nodes built into racks, maybe with RAID storage, fibre channel switches, UPSs, etc., but whose racks? Dell, Compaq, IBM?
2. As turnkey servers with "intel outside"? Never saw one of those.
3. ?
Do you know, Paul?"

No...I don't know at this time.
