Neocon,
<<From: Bill Vaughn To: Neocon Jun 29 1999
His argument is faulty in that a key ingredient in repenting is comforting of one's victims. He has not comforted his rape victim or the many others he has repeatedly called liars. Any coming to grips with his past can't be complete without interaction with victims.
The statement on its face is laughable. >>>>

May Mr. Vaughn never learn to whistle past a graveyard.

Talk of redemption is irrelevant. Redeeming oneself is predicated on immoral choices. BC's actions were not choices, not immoral, and carry no expectation of restoration. They were biological imperatives, and our society recognizes the highest priority for these.

You might as well ask Reagan to apologize for his memory lapses, seriously begun as early as 1982.

I just can't figure your inconsistency to be about sex or political opponents.
