Hi Dale, and all.... Haven't posted to this thread for a while since I really don't have much to contribute. Still holding my semi cap equip stocks which are moving up slowly, but surely. But here's a story I thought you might enjoy: Was watching CNNFN last night after the market closed. They had Roger McNamee on, who is a tech analyst and investor. He had high praise for the IPO de jour, EELN, so I thought I'd go after some today. I had real-time quotes up on a DATEK window and Fidelity on another. EELN apparently opened @ noon (e.t.) @ $20. By the time I saw it had opened and got my order in, it was 12:18 and the price was up to 28+. I put in a market order, but got no results. Meanwhile, I kept checking the price....29...32...36...I thought to myself "Bull----!", and cancelled the order. By the time I got confirmation of the cancel, it was 12:30, and the price was 48 11/16! Is there a moral here? I don't think so, but I did find out that I'm not gutsy enough to tough out a market order for a hot stock. Perhaps I'll regret it, but I think in the future I'll leave IPO's to the high flyers and stick with my "conservative" tech stocks. Now, back to checking EELN's price.......... Regards Knip
