Without a doubt Altavista is my favorite search engine. I remeber that David Wetherel told me he liked Hotbot better. I guess he changed his mind.

I use Altavista for 90% of my searches.

Hmmmm wonder why they didn't go after Northern Light in their backyard? Northern Light is actually the largest search engine.... Guess they don't have all thos perks that comes w/the CPQ deal..

Cheers,

I hope putting CMGI stock into the hands of CPQ is not like giving a loaded gun to a kid - CPQ might do something dumb like pull the trigger and sell the shares.

Well, good point, but I'm sure there's a lock-up provision that prevents them from running the shares to the market so don't expect Columbine High type behavior from CPQ.

Besides, if they did that, their shareholders WOULD kill them...
