bp,

I doubt it is a technical breakout. There have been massive rumors circling around, which get hotter and better every day the past 2 weeks about a potential buyout. This has come to the forefront even more with the QWST/GLBX battle over Frontier, and the last MFNX acquisition.

Current market cap is just over $4B. I seem to remember BCST going for $5.7B, and XCIT for $6B. This would lead me to believe that EXDS should go for somewhere over $150, or in that range. The chance of a buyout in th enext quarter, especially if we have another Net run is pretty high.

This, IMO, is what is driving us at this time. Not earnings, not news, and not revenue growth. Other somewhat similar companies did not hold up as well, and have not done as well the past week.

I smell a buyout--IBM, QWST (If they lose Frontier), LVLT, and to a lesser extent, WCOM, make sense to me.

Holding,

G

bp...could you be more specific as to how it shows in the chart before it hits wire? I'm just learnign technical analysis...love the standard deviation charts, am more and more familiar with stochastic, although don't get what's fast vs slow. MACD/P I'm still clueless. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks
