I believe in DD, good or bad, Rick. Just talked with Kevin
and will try to post the gist of what he said, directly.

According to Kevin, this act only targets a
portion of the alcohol industry and none of
the myriad, other commodities subject to the
obligatory markings. He suspects the Russian
Mafia is more involved in the political aspects
of alcohol regulation than other tangibles.

He says the list of goods and products subject
to the tax stamp program is vast, covering
almost 100 different items. Everything from
software to refrigerators is in the list.

Moreover, the U.S. Government is showing signs
of solid support and HGRM is still awaiting a
bank guaranteed payment. He says a PR will be
forthcoming as soon as that occurs.

Of course, I can't say what this means overall.
No one can. It might just be a twitch or there
could be a snowballing effect. I sincerely hope
the Russians don't find another way to screw up
a good thing. The IMF ought to look at this
before giving them another penny, I believe.

HGRM has acted in good faith on an agreement
signed into law by the Russian Federation. Along
with Spetsznak, they are fulfilling their end of
the bargain. I don't know what else I can say
other than let's just hope for the best.
