mike , there are other companys poping up,magic is working w/ some key
companys (i think you know them) that tells me that magic is a leader
in (vui) its still early in this technoligy ! i see this stock at
4.00 at christmas ! i hope not but thats what the street says
(only small individual investers like me & you are in a stock like this) a good note is the technoligy isnt going away, itll only grow , hopefully will be right in the middle

The answer to your question is somewhat complicated. To begin with, we are talking about network-driven voice systems, as opposed to voice systems that live on individual PCs. General Magic is not necessarily competing, for example, with Dragon Systems, although there is some overlap.

Within their space, General Magic clearly has a more advanced and robust system than any of the competitors. Sure, there have been lots of announcements, but there are really only two other currently shipping products that I know of (Webley and Wildfire), and they are both more primitive. More to the point, they are aimed only at the virtual assistant market, while MagicTalk has much broader applications.

Will GMGC be able to parley this lead into dollars? That remains to be seen. I'm a shareholder, so you know what I think.
