Today is July 1, 1999:
A new month with a new outlook.

To All:

Many skeptics arise to caution us, as if to say we should hold off on Tri-Valley until we see the results, but I want them to at least consider that a company of only 7 employees (Tri-Valley) with a market cap of only $17 MILLION, has been approached by a company of 107800 employees (Halliburton) and a market cap of $17 BILLION, wanting to get involved with the little company's "Project Ekho." That factor alone bears consideration.

When the GIANT wants to join in with the little company and provide services for the drilling, etc., it becomes obvious to even the novice that the little company is actually sitting on top of a huge potential that the GIANT is both educated and experienced enough to know won't be a waste of its time and energy. That is impressive enough to maintain support from those of us holding interests and/or stock, and to generate support for others to take a most serious look. This is potentially the opportunity that comes only once in a lifetime.

Compare TRIL and HAL and keep in mind that TRIL controls the leases and proprietary data, thus is actually the boss of the operation. Also keep in mind that Orcutt and Holly Sugar are both on hold, and will be pursued once this massive potential (Project Ekho) is pursued. After Project Ekho, Orcutt and Holly Sugar may not need to be pursued.

Perhaps we might buy up a few shares while the price is low just for fun. At this point I am not the least skeptical, nor disappointed in the wait. Tri-Valley keeps its cards close to its vest; so the other players can't get an upper hand so easily. That gets frustrating at times. However, what other company's stock --- that we know of --- has such a great potential to accelerate skyward? If we wait to invest until we see the results, we may not be able to afford the cost.

Best Wishes,
Muffin Man
