Hi j'fir,

<One thing I don't recall knowing is that (r)(r) fluoxetine, the single isomer of the active metabolite of Prozac (a seretonin reuptake inhibitor) is also a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor.>

Not only did you not know but it seems to be in conflict with other statements by the company. One example, "... studies indicate that (+)desmethylsibutramine may be a potent selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor. This UNIQUE triple mechanism of action may offer other benefits ..."

Can anyone shed more light on this? Or will we have to wait for the studies to be made public before we will really understand?
