That doesn't matter... the fact is he came from a fundamentalist background that teaches total intolerance, much like you see coming from the right. I admit there were times when the left was propelled by hate. That was in the 60s and 70s with the LA riots and SLA and all that. But that is the past. As I said once here there has only been one protest in SF to turn violent that I can remember recently... of course a christian group.
