OTOTOT.. Cool it, please. This is not the first time in recent posts you have implied that people who disagree with you had "communist" ideas. This would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. If you had taken the trouble to read my posts you would see that I welcome contrary opinion, it's just that I prefer it be given in a polite way, by an intelligent person who doesn't resort to name calling to compensate for lack of ideas. The first part of my suggestion would only remove a poster from one's own view, not anybody else's. About the idea of a vote, on second thought I think you're right. It's none of my business what anybody else views. In any case the whole thing wasn't meant as a really serious suggestion. I should have included an emoticon. You don't have to be worried about being banished. Everyone is free to ignore you on their own... <<gg>> Hopefully everybody will stop cluttering the thread with any more on this subject and get back to the business of making money.

Political Rant Rajala, you have got things wrong. The idea of a 50% vote removing people from the thread is not communism. Communism is communal ownership of property, which means land, productive capacity, intellectual property and pretty much everything except your toothbrush, which is usually of an approved type produced in the collective's factory. The idea of removing people from the thread by a vote of over 50% is called democracy. The same system which voted that people with sun resistant skin sit at the back of buses and have generally second class treatment at the hands of democratically elected political system. It is also called mob rule. The idea of having people spreading brown stuff around and generally wrecking everything is called anarchy. It doesn't last long and is soon replaced by an alpha male and his cohorts which knock things into shape. A couple of generations later they are called Royalty. The Monarch is crowned and hey presto, we have a monarchy. Which has been the most common form of government since the first chimp put some leaves on his head to impress the ladies and cow competitors. Then we have religious, lovey-dovey, hallelujah-brother systems which tend to end up with 16 year old females being sacrificed, thousands of people kneeling in rows to the boss priest, and mystical mumbo jumbo to ensure the throngs remain enslaved to the priesthood. These are similar to the current Chinese system which is a self-perpetuating boy's club. They can all be lumped into the 'collectivism' approach to keeping things more or less civilized. Unfortunately, they all result in the people running the show bludging off the achievements of the productive of the world. There is no need to accept viewpoints different from one's own. You are plain wrong Rajala, so I have no need to accept your point of view. What I do want, is different points of view which are CORRECT and save me from my ignorance and wrong ideas. If mob thread rule was enacted, you could start a thread of your own, and vote down the ones who evicted you from their club hut. Then we would have the good old dichotomy of good and evil. The good guys would be the bulls and the evil the bears. The bears must necessarily be the evil ones, because they deny the positive ideas of the bulls which hope to create something. The bears don't hope to create anything, just profit from the foolishness of wishful thinkers. Which I hasten to add, doesn't make them evil - they are performing a vital educational task to dissuade the manic from their superstitious beliefs. [God forbid that anyone should mistake this little rant as an invitation to start a religious discussion. Iridium is running on prayer so enthusiasts should go to that thread. If they can get Iridium back on track with a mass incantation, that would be great proof of their beliefs being correct.] Okay, back to the regular programme [program]. Please don't be discouraged from continuing your very valuable participation. As we have seen, the more egregious of Rajala's posts can be airbrushed [I'm actally disappointed I didn't get to see it because I'd like to have seen just how grotty he was. It used to take quite an effort to get a post deleted due to being offensive.]
