Ok.. who wants to start a Y2K thread?

Does SI already have one we could all invade? <g>

I've heard a bit about embedded processors in the oil industry.

Something tells me the major upheavals - if there are any stateside to be had and it's not my imagination running away with me again - will start this autumn.

FWIW

Truedog,

Do you really think that we could have a y2k crisis? If so, here in Europe we will be in trouble becasue nobody is giving the y2k any thought!

As for Kosovo, I hope that we will go tward normalization, and I hope that Kosovars, both Serbs and Albanians, will start to put their lives
back together. With the same conviction that I wanted to see NATO puts ans stop to mass murder of Albanians, I like to see NATO protect
Kosovars Serbs. So far I believe NATO has done a lousy job of it. There are over 80,000 Kosovar Serbs that have scaped from Kosovo, and
Nato troops have not taken any step to protect them from KLA and
vengeful Albanians.

Take care,

Yaacov
