Hi:

Short story for you sir. While working on a project in S. Calif in 1989, a watering hole buddie, who was an investment banker recommended DELL. He went to school with MSD in Austin and said "this man has a vision". He described the business and said the stock was selling @ $7/share, with a high recommendation. What did I know, the 80's were dominated by the Mac, which we used on the job and the home office.

A few years later, now vacationing in Calif., I ran into my friend who had bought the stock and then sold a couple of years later to settle a divorce. - - What a shame.

Returning home, I bought "a few shares" then added and added and added thru the years. Finally retired last year, and watch Dell's every tick, track all the news and keep watching your taped barbecue last summer as featured on CNN.

Regards, L Herb Rentler
