Joe, Carolyn......I'm puttin on rubber gloves and going out to rescue Russ......I know it's Russ cause GNET didn't fall.

Carolyn, I live on the beach, cats and seagulls only dangers lurking. Blue has the snakes.

I'll let you know how the rescue goes.

(Boy, I sound like a lot of trouble these last couple of days.)

Joe, You believe that? That is a story made up by Mothers who told it to kids to keep them from touching baby birds. Hey, rubber gloves, can't hurt.
I have (what else) Mountain Bluebirds that nest each year in a nesting box a have for them near my garden. Bluebird chicks often fly out the nest a day or two early and I go find them in the field where they crash and then stick them back in the hole in the box. I don't use gloves and Mommy and Daddy Bluebird have watched me do this several times. Perhaps they know I'm beating the cat to their chicks. What's that? Oh Jed said "mayB BLUE's hans donts stink."
