About PM, very strange indeed.

As for going overseas, that might be a way to get a short print in 144A stock, IF indeed, the stock has some kind of market. Without getting into your private business :) if you're talking about some multimillion dollar pharmaceutical company with a HQ in Germany, and you work for an American subsidiary or branch - yeah, I could see 144A stock being shortable, as there'd be an active market and perhaps some big wirehouse is willing to loan it out. If you're talking, Joe's Paint Shop...well, you get the idea.

Also - you may have to check whatever you signed initially, whether an offering circular, private placement memorandum, employment contract (if anything).
