From the "..Jus' so's ya know Department..":

Here's a little more news on doin's in China:

Environmentally Friendly Buses Run in China City

Haikou, the capital of China's southernmost island province of Hainan, now boasts 35 buses running on liquefied petroleum gas. The switch from gasoline is expected to reduce pollution by 80 percent and the cost of fuel by 30 percent.

Haikou expects to spend about U.S. $3.6 million to convert 5400 automobiles into "green buses" and build 18 LPG stations. Officials say that LPG will be used on all buses and most cabs in 1998. Two other south China cities, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, reportedly have similar buses in operation.

Fred (and John too) ... you boys best watch your name calling. Remember what happened last time we insulted Puddin-Boy and his sidekick, Cliffy ... they tattled to mommy (webmistress) and threatened the other kids on the playground with the S-word, I almost can't bear to say it .... SUSPENSION (gasp). Gotta behave now, lest we get in more trouble! (But I do have to confess here, if you're making fun of those with small ... shares, I only have 5K!) But I CAN take a joke, so you're perfectly free to snicker at me and I promise I won't tell! Cheers! Mrs. Hoghead
