Our company is certainly not taking your advice Trey. We are a 10,000+ person organization and an IBM shop from core to desktop. We don't have IBM PCs or servers because we think they are great. We have them because IBM IT Services have their hooks deep into us. We pretty much have to chew our own leg off to move on. Beyond the DEC bloodline, filling out the enterprise offerings and ISP/Webhosting space is why Compaq has an OEM deal with CS. For the record I am not holding my breath hoping that CS will be taken over by Compaq or anyone else for that matter. Compaq as a maturing sales channel to CS is huge as is. With Compaq/CMGI and Patel's focus on ISP penetration I can pretty much guarantee you where a crap load of Compaq branded smart switch routers are going to end up.
