I got home today to find a flyer hanging on my door for INFOSPEEDdsl from Bell Atlantic. Still waiting on ATHM service. So I call them thinking, YES! Broadband coming my way (some dancing and and a beer while I reach for the phone). The tech rep says: 'OK we are gonna run a test to make sure you can receive it as your home must be within 12,000 feet of the "station".' I said cool, just sign me up! (Ready to sell out my self as an ATHM long). He comes back on line a few minutes later and says 'sorry, you must be outside the 12,000 feet limit as your line doesn't pass the test'. I said, guess I'll be getting the ATHM when they get to my area. The race is on folks, DSL has just as many difficulties as a cable modem. I say Go ATHM!
