Perhaps women are just more cautious and therefore do a lot more homework. We initially bet smaller amounts and admit defeat faster than men, which in the end is the essence of risk and money management - the only thing that differentiates profitable and unprofitable traders in the long run.

TFF:

A hearty welcome to you! I know I'm speaking for many readers of this thread in saying how pleased I am to see your presence on this thread. You are one of the most respected daytraders on SI and I have admired your knowledge since I joined SI early last year. You are the only person on SI to have multiple links in the "DAYTRADING FUNDAMENTALS - Thread Summary" thread without actually making any posts on the "DAYTRADING FUNDAMENTALS" thread! You even have a fan club specifically requesting you to join this thread: #reply-10247851

Thanks again for joining us here. I hope you will continue to post on this thread.

-Eric

P.S. I would encourage any current or aspiring daytraders to bookmark TFF's threads, as they are very insightful into the fine art of daytrading. They are some of the best threads on SI. Specifically, check out #Subject-16961 #Subject-20613 #Subject-22743 #Subject-22359
