Very true. Definitions do definitely confuse things things. It is now politically correct to say that alcoholism is a disease. Being an ex-drunk, of major proportions myself, I say that that is a cop-out. It is not a disease because a concious choice is made by the individual. Alcohol is used to alter ones mood and ,either relieve the tensions of the day, or try to keep them at bay,or hide them.
Nobody makes the future drunk take that drink that starts him on his merry way. He makes the choice and, I can assure you it is the wrong one.
