Just got back from Riverside Ca helping my wife close her Aunts home. Early this morning, about 5:00 am, a L A TV station had a five minute coverage on biometrics and the bigger role it is starting to play in security. The Home Shopping Network announced that it would use a voice biometric system for its TV show. They will have people call in after they have been entered into the voice recognition system. This should give a 99.9% positive identification of the individual. They went on to show how it worked in fair detail. The system will not accept a recording, as it will not only ask for your name but some other not known question. Sore throats etc will not effect the recognition. The voice system is evidently an LA company. This may have been replayed out there today. Also when IDX was included in the Russell 3000 would there be funds that buy the stock so there funds might mirror the 3000?? Ron
