My admittedly faulty logic was as follows: Since CSCO is a significant BRCM customer, and since LU is expanding into the packet world and digital world to compete w/CSCO, hopefully LU might purchase some of the same types of chips that CSCO is. I really would like to know what types of chips CSCO is buying from BRCM--I wouldn't think they are cable modem or DSL, but then again I don't know. So I stand here with egg on my face after asking a poor question--I'll do a little DD next time before posing a question about BRCM customers.
