Most excellent post.... By: JCer Tuesday, 29 Jun 1999 at 5:28 PM EDT Why My Group is Heavily Invested in STRU and Other DD thoughts. As some of you people know, my "group" bought a large portion of STRU, well over several million shares....part of this is due to the fact that a few of us are tied into the feed mill industry in Indonesia and Malaysia (we provide the food for chickens, shrimp and pigs). Here is the lowdown or as much as I can share without crossing any boundaries: Indonesians is Muslim and as a result, they don't eat pork very much (this traces back to Mohammed taking refuge in a pig sty when he was on the run). Beef in Indonesia is expensive as anyone can guess....the "beef" in Asia is mainly ox which are used for working rather than slaughtering... For Indonesia (a Muslim country), poultry is the number one meat consumed...again, this is because pork isn't consumed due to religious factors and beef is expensive and is used mostly for "working" (dragging stuff on the rice fields) just like horses aren't consumed heavily in western nations since they are mainly "working" animals. For Malaysia, and Thailand and China and the rest of Asia for that matter, they are mainly Buddhist....Buddhist consume poultry & pork readily but are hesitant to consume beef since...again...they are considered "sacrilegious" much like horses are....in other words, the only Muslim places in Asia are Indonesia, Pakistan and bits of India....all other places would not hesitate to stick a fork in Porky Pig...especially if it was a lean & mean Porky free of "stress". The people in my group heavily invested in STRU for several reasons: the recent pig slaughter of over 800,000 in Malaysia was very very real....they saw their feed mill demand go way down the past quarter...they understood that pig diseases could easily wipe out not only pigs but humans as well.... As some of you may know, all major flu viruses originate in Asia due to the interaction of pigs with chickens/ducks and humans....just think for a moment how STRU's technology could benefit Asia....no, don't just think...PONDER for a few moments how a leaner, disease-free pig would benefit humanity for that reason. Did I say humanity? yes.....most of you should know that Xenotransplants (if you don't know what this word means, look it up!) is the future to solve the organ transplant crisis....how would STRU's technology come into play? as I have posted earlier, the major hindrance in Xenotransplant technology is that the current pigs they use for research cannot be guaranteed to be "disease free"....well, there is certainties and guarantees in science but any moron can figure out that STRU's pigs could sure benefit modern science & researches by at least reducing the chance of a diseased pig to almost nil. My group did some DD of their own and ...well...let's just say their customers (aka, major pig farmers and industries in Malaysia & Thailand) HAVE heard of STRU....I'll just leave it at that for now....but you should be able to connect the dots here. I'm NOT speculating that STRU has a deal going on in Asia....maybe..maybe not...I don't know, and I don't want to cause a speculation frenzy..... What I do know is this: STRU has something that the entire continent of Asia needs. (remember the China deal that was probably put on hold due to new management?)....nowhere in the world would STRU's pigs benefit the people more than Asia. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to connect the dots. So what do I think of the latest stock price? It's amazing how some of you worry when the price goes down....I feel the opposite..in fact, I get excited! To avoid heavy heavy capital gains taxes, I don't plan to sell anything until next year...in fact, since our purchase was from our investment company, any decision to sell would have to approved of by several board members and I guarantee we would rather wait a year to avoid heavy taxes!! In the meantime, several of us bought several hundred thousand shares for ourselves to keep..... so since i am VERY VERY VERY long on STRU, I get excited when the price drops because every paycheck I get, I set aside a portion to buy more shares. While some of you stress about the price drop, I get excited.....for every few thousand I set aside from my paycheck that goes to buy STRU, I see it as a savings account....a savings account that will explode exponentially. Think about it people....we have been trading sideways between the 15-20 cent range the past two weeks...this is probably a comfortable support level for us....why wouldn't I buy it at these rock bottom prices?? am I worried that it will drop to 10 cents? hardly. why would I care if it takes a few cent dive when the upside potential for this stock is simply enormous. Just think about the pending NBA draft for a moment: why the hell would anyone take unproven talent (high school seniors with no college experience, freshman and sophomores in college leaving early)...why?? two words: upside potential. The upside potential for STRU is unlimited. let's take a step back and look at the big picture: 1) company is under new management in December of 1998 2) word leaks out that embryonic transplants method is finalized and contracts are pending 3) buying frenzy ensues 4) inevitable pullback due to 504 offering & sell off 5) announcement of herd rights 6) announcement of carcass evaluation 7) announcement of training for ET method with one of the leading veterinarian schools in the country What's next? my speculation is: possible announcement of hiring of new PR firm (most of us know this has already happened...it may or may not get released) And the big one: revenue contracts. From now until "the big one", all we have to do is wait....and accumulate. If youre telling me this stock is a pump and dump and is going nowhere, I'd ask what kind of glue you have been sniffing or investigate whether you took too many Flintstone Vitamins as a kid. Wake up and smell the bacon guys! Quit micro watching this stock to death! The fundamentals are all in place....All you have to do is sit on your anxiety-filled asses, stop bitching about day-to-day stock prices/gains and accumulate! The reason I don't post much is because all of you MircoMinuteWatchers either 1) don't have much patience, 2) don't have faith, 3) are short term day traders 4) myopic. As the famous bumper sticker says: Get In Sit Down Hold On Shut Up!
