National prayer day fails in the House !! usatoday.com By a vote of 275 to 140 a national day of prayer failed in the house. A 2/3 majority was needed and by my calculations I count that we needed only 3 more votes. Let us all pray that it will pass under different house rules, or the more traditional count. Father God. Please call, me, us, and this nation to a day of repentance, prayer and fasting. I am not so worthy as to even call upon Your name, let alone on behalf of this nation. However God, I have no one else to call upon; so in Jesus name would You hear my plea.........gregor
