In the days gone by when Telcos had exclusive rights for the use of "their" facilities, they ruled. Look what happened. Cable companies will go the same way. No monopoly.

No chance in hell that passes this year. Open access will be an issue hanging over the stock for a long time.

My 2cents: They should be made to specify a number of years (perhaps five) in place of "at this time". How can any company do business with the threat of open access able to be pulled out of a hat whenever someone (lobby, group, competitor, politician, etc.)wants to cause trouble for the companies involved?

If I were T I would demand a number of years assurance of them off my back. I would not trust their words "at this time"..........before you know it the hounds are at the door again.
