bob, interesting that the device is said to be compliant with the SDMI specs, but will NOT play the current MP3 tunes. SDMI said the first specs included the ability to play the MP3 tunes. hmmm
Not a big deal, just interesting. Probably save on MP3 royalties that way.

Bob, I'm glad you got a subscription in Webnoize!!!! That is probably the best article written on EDIG this year. I hope it gets copied all over the internet and in some of those late breaking (with news) technical magazines.

bob, just before I read your post:

Message 10325097

I emailed Neveen to verify that e.Digital was in the Digital and e-Finance funds and I got this response:

Perhaps they invested in another way or Angela Thomas does not know what's going on. I guess she doesn't read webnoize.com

This seems to be webnoize.com's second scoup. They were the first to announce the watermarking standard and they are the first to announce EDIG's institutional investor's name. They even knew it before the person who put out the news release about the Digital and e-Finance funds. WOW.

bob, it looks like Webnoize.com deleted that article that you posted:

beta.siliconinvestor.com

They usually keep an article up for a few days then you can find it by doing a search. I know the article was there. I went there right after I read your post. I saw the first few lines, but since I am not a subscriber I wasn't able to read the whole article.

So, I tried to do a search on e.Digital and only came up with one article dated 4/28/99.

I wonder what's up with pulling the article?

I'm sure it had nothing to do with this
techstocks.com
or this
techstocks.com

Perhaps something is wrong with their server.
