Never cottoned to a notion, JP. That must be an Alabama thing, er, thang. One of my grandmothers was from Bayou La Batrie, Alabama, but I don't recall her ever cottoning to a notion, either. I've reckoned, I've moseyed, I've been fixing to, I've had a notion, can't remember what-all else at this minute, but it will come back to me. One of the lawyers at my office is from very southern Virginia, almost to the North Carolina border, and he's prone to start talking Southern without provocation, sometimes I am the only one around who understands him.
