The Cyclone was a Comet on steroids, mfg from 64 to 71. Originally came with a 289 @ 210hp, the 1970 spoiler series had a 429 that cranked out 370hp @ 5400rpm.

Hi Greg, Regarding the Cyclone, my cousin had a 70 Cyclone, it was a mercury prpoduct, very simiolar to the Torino, my cousins was the hipo model with 429 medium hp engine, 4 speed and Detoit Locker 4.3 rear end. It had super acceleration and aserious thirst for sunoco 260. He sold it to his kid sister, believe it or not and she proceeded to drive it for the next 8 or ten years. I dont think she ever did any serious repairs to it, but it must have eaten her paycheck alive in fuel costs.

Hi Greg, thanks for the invite from the SS50 thread.

www2.techstocks.com

I have very little mechanical knowledge of cars, so I could use some help finding a part for my car. I have an '84 Eldorado Classic convertible (white-on-white-on-white with continental kit -- only 400 like it were made). The electrical relays for the mechanism that runs the top are wearing out. I understand I can't get replacements from the factory. So, does anyone know where I can get something that will work.

TIA
