WARNING: very long post that is directed to Birney aka Valuehunter --

Given every single complaint that you have with this company, why the hell do you allegedly still own it?! You pose the excuse that you are in too deep and hope to somehow salvage at least some portion of your investment. Then, you proceed to do everything possible to dissuade people from buying the stock. Think about that for a change, rather than ignoring this argument for the umpteenth time and gurgling about getting tired of my posts, etc.

Another question: are we supposed to feel sorry for you? Your behaviour [sic] reminds me of a person who goes to the doctor saying that it hurts when he hits himself in the head and asks what to do about it. Do you know the answer? Stop hitting your head! If this company is guilty of everything you claim it is, THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL HOLDING THIS STOCK?! Ask yourself that question 20 times. If you can't come up with one GOOD reason, then get out while you still can still recover something of value! To do otherwise is unjustified, no matter how deep your paper losses. Indeed, to continue to hold onto what you label a "dog," etc., is cheating you out of an opportunity to make $$$ in other securities during this time of relative health in the stock market. Masochism is not defined as courage or bravery in anyone's dictionary.

Per your post, I agree with you wholeheartedly -- DCI and its supporters (myself included here) have on numerous occassions been way, way too optimistic, and in other cases, have over-promised, etc. If I remember correctly, I was one of the first SI-frequenting shareholders to argue against the CEO posting here, as it unnecessarily raised expectations (including mine) and created the potential for misunderstandings, or worse. Was it risky? IMO, yes. Was it sinister? That certainly wasn't -- and isn't -- my take on it. I believe Joe was absolutely sincere in expressing his own belief that market would react possitively to the various press releases, and probably was as dumbfounded and pissed off as we were when it didn't happen that way. Hell, their revenues increased, what, 7-8 fold in one year? That is an exceptional growth rate by any objective measure. Unfortunately, it has been over-shadowed by expectations of a $100M run rate, and for that and myriad other reasons, once again, there has been relatively no reaction in the "marketplace" (I assume, as I haven't checked the ticker today).

A sincere question: if you do indeed hold shares, why? Tell me the name of the person holding the gun to your head and I'll call 9-1-1 right this very second and get the cops out to your place to rescue you. On the other hand, if that person is yourself, then who made your bed? Why do you feel so compelled to share your self-inflicted wounds with the rest of the posters here?

You say you want to sell but moan that you can't get a decent price. Then, usually in the very same post, you raise all kinds of suspicions relative to the management's motives, competence, honesty, etc. That's akin to someone having a yard sale and telling everyone who drives up that you're selling a bunch of crap and they would be fools to buy it. How much do you think you'd sell?!

Think think think! If you are sincere in wanting to recoup at least part of your payout in the short term, then do yourself a favor and hit your browser's "back" button rather than SI's "Submit Response" button after you type out your latest lament. To do otherwise is self-defeating and seriously calls into question (granted, perhaps only in my mind) your motives for posting.

On the other hand, if you genuinely believe that you've been taken by DCI, etc., then do some REAL research and due diligence and report the facts here, rather than throwing out rhetoric and hypotheticals and asking everyone else to do your leg work for you.

Sorry for the long and redundant post, but until you answer the questions posed here -- and of course, you are under no obligation whatsoever -- I will continue to raise them, as that is my nature, right Bill? ggg.

Typoes are my own, of course.
