As far as I can tell, they are strictly a fabless ASIC supplier with (according to CS First Boston) no revenues to date. They also seem to focus on the OC-192 level. As PMC is an ASSP supplier and concentrates on the lower OC-3-OC-12 speeds, I see no overlap at all. And for those of you who may ask, why isn't PMC competing at the OC-192 level? - see my prior posts or ask yourself - how big of a market is the core vs. all the access and mux/demux edge markets around the world? (hint - CSCO says the latter is 20x the former) BD
